August 1st is the cut off date for determining if your player is “under” your team’s age bracket. For player development and safety reasons, the club strongly discourages players from playing “up” and allows players to play up on a case-by-case basis. Under no circumstances will a player be permitted to play up more than 2 years (i.e. a 10 year old will not be permitted to play U13).

    Overview

Randolph seeks to have 2 teams at the U9-U12 age levels, a Gold flighted and a Silver flighted team. From year to year, we strive to match players with teams with players with the same skill, commit and desire. In the interests of promoting player development, Randolph is committed to having our U-11 teams play 8 V 8 beginning with the 2007-2008 Season.

At the U6 & U7 age levels, our players play in-house with other Randolph players. At the U-8 age level our teams are coed and play 4v4 with teams from other clubs. At the U-13 and above levels, the number of our teams varies from season to season depending on the coaches we have.

    Registration

For players not currently on a Randolph team, players may register at our play days in the Spring. In addition, we will hold Open Registration on August 23rd and September 6th at Himmel Park from 10 am – 2 pm.

    Foreign Birth Certificates

All birth certificates, regardless of the player’s age or nationality, which are in a foreign language MUST be accompanied by a Foreign Translation Form found at www.azyouthsoccer.com. The translation must be done by a schoolteacher, government official, professional translator, or similar professional or official. A member of the player’s family or the Coach cannot do translations. The Foreign Translation Form must be turned in with the Registration Form.

    Foreign Born Players

If any player was born outside the United States, AYSA requires the player meet additional requirements before being eligible to register. If the player is 11 years of age or younger, AYSA requires that the player submit proof that the player resided in the United States prior to being 11 years of age. The player can submit a school report card or prior season’s player card as proof. This must be submitted with the Registration Form.

If the player is between the ages of 12 and 17, and has not signed a professional contract or received money from a professional team for playing soccer, the player MUST complete an International Clearance Waiver Form found at www.azyouthsoccer.org and return the form and pay the fee to the US Soccer Federation. Submit a copy of the form and proof of payment to Randolph with the player’s registration form.

If the player is over 17 years of age, the player MUST complete and submit to the US Soccer Federation an “International Clearance Request” Form before being eligible to register. Submit the form to Randolph with the player’s registration form.

Multiple (Dual) Roster Players vs. Loan Players

“Multiple (Dual) Roster Players” and “Loan Players” are NOT the same. A Multiple Roster Player is a player who receives a player card for a team and a Loan Player does not. A Multiple Roster Player’s primary team is automatically the first team the player is registered with. A Multiple Roster Player may only be registered to a secondary team at the time the second team completes its initial team registration (i.e. as part of its initial team roster). Players cannot dual roster on 2 teams in the same age bracket. They cannot be added later! Multiple Roster Players must pay the same Randolph registration fees and any training fees, if applicable. See www.pcjsl.com for the “Multiple Registration Form” for more information and age and playing restrictions.

Loan Players are not players registered to your team. You are permitted to have up to 5 loan players to bring your game day roster up to 12 and 3 loan players to bring your game roster up to 15 players (i.e. you are not limited by the number of registered players, only by the number who are actually at the game). For each loan player, you will need: (i) the player’s card; (ii) a Member Loan Form, if the player is from another Club; (iii) signed Medical Release Form and (iv) Randolph numbered uniform. The Member Loan Form and Medical Release are available on www.pcjsl.com. Extra Randolph Uniforms can be purchased from the Club for $40.00 (with red jersey) & $60 (with alternate jersey too).

    Transfer Players

If a player currently registered on another team wishes to switch to your team, you may only register the player if the player completes a “Change Status Form” also found on www.pcjsl.com. The player must also complete the Randolph registration form and pay our registration fees.

    Notarized Medical Release

Teams traveling out of state and teams participating in State or Open Cup must have a notarized medical release for each player.

If you have any questions regarding the registration process, please contact the Club’s registrar.
